Vat Free Products: The products we supply may be offered at a vat free price depending on your personal status and which product is to be purchased. Vat free products may also be available to charities. Items eligible for a Vat free price are stated with the product information. Items brought at a vat exemption price are for the sole use by a disabled person to treat/help a disability. Where the funds for the items come from a charitable source they may also be Vat exempt. Please refer to HM Customs and Excise; notice 701/7 supplies to charities. Details are available from the Customs and Excise web site.

Eligible Products: Products that are available for Vat exemption are items that have been produced and designed to assists solely for a registered disabled person. This also includes products designed for help, care or treatment of incontinence. These products are only available vat exempt if purchased by a registered charity or by the individual disabled person. Please fill out our Vat exemption form to meet the requirements of Custom and Excise. This is a simple declaration form that enables you to receive the purchased goods at a Vat free price. Any Delivery charges made will not be Vat exempt.

Eligible Customers: The eligible person to receive vat free products must be chronically sick or disabled. The goods must be supplied for an individuals personal or domestic use and not for use of a general able bodied person. The eligible person must have a mental or physical impairment, which has had a long-term effect on that person's ability to conduct everyday activities. In addition the eligible person may have a chronic illness treated by a medically trained professional.

Non-eligible customers: This would be a person who is an elderly or an able bodied or a person who is temporarily disabled for example, a broken leg. If you are not eligible for VAT relief, we are obliged to charge you 17.5% VAT on the whole order. Please contact us if required to re-calculate your bill.
